Do you know a handful of expansive soil once derailed Cao Cao’s ambition to dig a canal, leaving his grand plan stranded for nearly 2,000 years.? Do you know the imposing Jianghuai Watershed can be deeply excavated with wisdom and cutting-edge technology nowadays? For generations, people have strived to solve water scarcity in the middle Huaihe River basin. On December 30, 2022, the main project of the Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion Project was officially put into trial operation.
