The sixth China-Arab States Expo opened on September 21, 2023, in Yinchuan, capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with planned trade and investment cooperation totaling 170.97 billion yuan (about $23.4 billion).

The four-day event draws the participation of guests from more than 50 countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Mauritania. This year's expo features trade fairs on trade and investment, modern agriculture, cross-border trade, cultural tourism, water resources utilization, and meteorological cooperation, resulting in a total of 403 cooperation outcomes. In particular, as many as 218 investment projects took the lion's share — more than 90 percent — of all initiatives and amounted to 157.1 billion yuan.
First held in 2013, the China-Arab States Expo has become an important platform for China and Arab states to promote pragmatic cooperation and Belt and Road cooperation and meteorological cooperation.
