Muhammad, a young scientist from Pakistan, has studied and worked on Science Island in Hefei for seven years. Recently, his paper with a focus on PD-L1 cancer biomarker was accepted by Analytical Chemistry, an international famous journal, with research results displayed as the cover. This study provides a new observation tool for understanding cellular immune responses and the mechanism of cancer immunotherapy.

“I love Science Island. There are recognized experts and first-class equipment, suitable for scientific research," said Muhammad. He added that his Chinese colleagues are hardworking and now he has gotten used to the life here, just like in his words, “If you are in China, do like the Chinese do.”
