The new energy vehicle (NEV) industry is one of the eight advanced manufacturing industries in Fuyang. Riding the wave of the NEV industry, Fuyang has made big moves to develop this new lane with the focus on whole vehicles, auto parts, and auto aftermarket.

At present, Fuyang has more than 260 NEV-related enterprises. In 2023, enterprises in the NEV industry chain in Fuyang achieved an operating income of 22.49 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%. With its NEVs also going global, the export value reached 19.51 million dollars in 2023, a growth of 13.1% over the past year. In 2023, the city implemented 61 key projects in the NEV industry with a total investment of 61.54 billion yuan. Moving along with the trend, Fuyang's NEV industry is firing on all cylinders.
