Huaibei Bangzi Opera is a local opera with strong artistic color popular in the area north of the Huaihe River in Anhui province. It has a history of more than 100 years, with its repertoire mostly adapted from historical events. In recent years, the plays and actors of Huaibei Bangzi Opera have won awards for many times in major artistic activities at the national and provincial levels, occupying a very important position in the history of Anhui drama.
