Recently, a welcome announcement was made at the 48th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, the Republic of Korea: the intangible cultural heritage fish lanterns of Shexian County, Anhui Province have been included in the Case Collection on Synergistic Protection of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage in East Asia released by the UNESCO Office for East Asia.
