Qingtan Ancient Bridge sits at the entrance of Hujia Village, Fuling Town, Jixi County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. It is a one arch stone bridge first built back in the Ming Dynasty. It now holds the status of Anhui Provincial Cultural Heritage Site.
Clear water runs gently under the bridge. Traditional Huizhou buildings with white walls and dark tile roofs line both banks. Green mountains wrap around the whole area in the distance. You can also find quiet old villages and open farm fields nearby, with no overdeveloped commercial tourism.
You can drive there by navigating to the Qingtan Bridge section of Provincial Highway 346. The mountain views along the drive are soft, lively and totally worth the trip.(Source: Xuancheng News and Media Center; Translation: Zha Ruonan)
