A group of wild Yangtze finless porpoises were seen frolicking on the Yangtze River on June 11, 2026, in the core area of Tongling Freshwater Porpoise National Nature Reserve in Xuba Township, Yi'an District.
At least four porpoises were observed, including two young ones staying close to their mothers. They circled around on the river for almost 20 minutes and then gradually left.（Text & Photos: Chu Zhuchuan）
