On May 18, we marked the 50th International Museum Day, with this year's theme being "Museums: Bridges Connecting the World." To fulfill museums' contemporary mission of transcending geographical boundaries and bridging past and present, the exhibition "Clouds Trace Luzhou : A Photo Exhibition of Hefei's Premium Cultural Relics and Key Heritage Sites" was officially launched. Organized by the Hefei Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, hosted by the Hefei Cultural Relics Protection Center and Anhui Pictorial Press, and co-organized by the International College of Anhui Medical University, the exhibition was presented simultaneously online and offline, using cultural relics as a medium to foster mutual understanding among civilizations.

This exhibition closely aligns with the theme of International Museum Day 2026, presented in both Chinese and English. It features a carefully curated selection of precious historical artifacts from various dynasties in Hefei and photographs showcasing the landscapes of key cultural heritage sites, comprehensively illustrating the historical transformations, cultural legacy, and enduring craftsmanship of the Luzhou region. The exhibition tells the story of Hefei's evolution from an ancient city to a modern metropolis, bringing cultural relics to life and making history tangible for visitors.

The offline exhibition was held at the International College of Anhui Medical University, aiming to use cultural relics as a bridge to break down civilizational barriers and promote cultural exchange. At the venue, young students from various countries paused to observe, appreciating the profound heritage of China's history and experiencing the unique charm of Hefei through each precious artifact. This exhibition not only provided international students with an important window to understand Chinese culture and recognize Hefei, but also enhanced mutual understanding through civilizational dialogue and fostered consensus through cultural integration.

This exhibition adopts a simultaneous online and offline format. The physical exhibition is held at the International College and Student Activity Center of Anhui Medical University, open to international students, faculty, and students. The online exhibition is simultaneously available on the official website of the Hefei Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Center and the "View & Exhibition" section of the Weilihuang Former Residence Exhibition Hall's official WeChat account. This dual-channel approach aims to transcend temporal and spatial limitations, expand the reach of cultural dissemination, enable the public to appreciate cultural relics virtually from the comfort of their homes, and promote the legacy of ancient culture to a wider audience.
