On March 16, the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Comprehensive Treatment Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine (Anhui Provincial Acupuncture Hospital) was officially inaugurated. The center welcomed its first group of international visitors: a delegation of more than ten Swiss TCM practitioners and enthusiasts led by Dr. Kiu Caracani, President of the International Group of Researchers and Development for Complementary Medicine (IRCM) in Switzerland. They took a flight to Anhui specifically to embark on immersive experiences of TCM health and wellness, exploring the unique charm of TCM culture.

During the exchange, guided by professional medical staff, Swiss participants experienced therapies such as auricular seed pressing and AI tongue diagnosis. The medical staff skillfully performed the procedures while explaining the principles, operational standards, and health benefits of each technique, allowing participants to intuitively experience the unique advantages of TCM—"simple, convenient, effective, and affordable."

After experiencing various TCM treatments, many participants found it “incredible”. “I tried acupuncture and facial meridian massage, and they are amazing!” said Barbara, a member of the delegation, barely able to contain her excitement. “Now in Switzerland, more and more people recognize TCM, and it’s becoming increasingly popular there.”
