On the night of the Lantern Festival, the annual fish lantern parade unfolded in Wangmantian Village, Xitou Town, Shexian County, Anhui.
The highlight of the evening was the debut of the 12-meter “fish lantern king”, the largest of its kind in the event’s history, and the fish lantern parade marched along the stream, showcasing the unique charm of Huizhou’s intangible cultural heritage to visitors from near and far, and delivering blessings of good fortune and bumper harvests.
