In the countryside of southern Anhui, a seven-year-old blonde girl is wielding a long sword, resembling a little swordswoman stepping out of an ink wash painting. Four years ago, her Austrian father and Chinese mother settled down amidst white-walled and black-tiled folk houses in Hongcun Village, Yixian County. Today, like a tiny seed, she is quietly growing in the gentle embrace of Huizhou.
