As night falls, Chengkan village in Huangshan city, Anhui province, is bathed in a kaleidoscope of lights and a lively atmosphere, just like a fantastic world. When the pounding rhythm of drums breaks the stillness of the evening, vibrant fish-shaped and dragon-shaped lanterns dance fills the night, with graceful figures weaving through the interplay of light and shadow. Young people capture every moment of Chengkan through their lenses: the ancient architecture, the wonderful performances, the warm-hearted people… all reflecting the perfect fusion of traditional culture and modern vitality. As the night deepens and the crowd slowly disperses, the echoes of drums, laughter, and camera shutters are still there, which seem to tell the story of this unforgettable evening.
