In summer, the riverbanks of Laozhou Township in Tongling, Anhui, reveal a unique, pristine riverscape. The sandbars are embraced by clear waters of the Yangtze River, with boats shuttling across the surface. Waves lap against the shore, echoing the sound of the river. Flocks of gulls can be seen in the landscape: some lazily lie on the sandbars, some stroll leisurely, some stand poised or soar freely in the sky. The sandy shores, shaped by the flow of the river and the blow of wind and sand, display a variety of natural geometric patterns. Against the backdrop of lush greenery and shimmering waters, the scene is second-to-none.
