French Director Embarked on a Journey to Explore “Dragons” in Anhui

Due to the excavation and research on fossils like Chaohusaurus, Chaohu area in Anhui has become a classic region for studying the extinction and recovery of organisms at the turn of the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras, and the origin and evolution of ichthyosaurs, the dominant marine reptiles of the Mesozoic Era.

Recently, Bertrand LOYER, renowned international director and president of SAINT THOMAS PRODUCTIONS in France made a special trip to the fossil site of Majia Mountain in Chaohu and Anhui Geological Museum for his science documentary TRIASSIC TITANS. Professor Jiang Dayong from the School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University, and Professor Huang Jiandong from Anhui Geological Museum, offered on-site explanations.
