Recently, European tourists from Germany and Norway stepped into Liqiao Water Town in Tongling City, Anhui Province. Along the way, they admired the picturesque Jiangnan-style scenery, took photos and immersed themselves in local historical culture and folk customs. They made earnest wishes at Wenchang Pavilion, danced and sang around the bonfire, experienced intangible cultural heritage, appreciated molten “iron flower” fireworks and dreamy light shows. The joyful moments amidst the laughter and merriment in summer here have weaved a tapestry of friendship between China and Europe.
