On the afternoon of January 23rd, festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year filled the air at the venue of the 18th Huizhou Ancient City Folk Culture Festival in Shexian County, Anhui Province. 17 folk customs and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) performances took the stage, such as traditional fish-shaped lanterns in Zhanqi and Wangmantian villages, grass dragon dance in Hongqin village, human pyramid in Yecun village, drawing local residents and tourists immersive in the rich flavor of Chinese New Year.
