More than 1,600 years ago, Tao Yuanming, a great Chinese poet, described an imaginary fairyland—Taohuayuan (Peach Blossom Spring). He may not expect that generations of Chinese people are fascinated by it and look for the Peach Blossom Spring in their minds.


Whether in terms of name or scenery, Taoyuan Village in Qimen County, Anhui Province, closely resembles the legendary Peach Blossom Spring.


With a history of about 800 years, Taoyuan Village is home to numerous quaint Chinese-style buildings, many of which have been preserved well. This village boasts clear streams and delicious black tea, also cafes, bookstores, and hotels. People can stay here and enjoy their leisure time. Every year, about 200 thousand tourists visit this ancient village to search for their ideal “Peach Blossom Spring”.
