Welcome to the UNESCO Global Geopark and a famous Chinese cultural mountain - Anhui Tianzhushan!

Tianzhushan is a Global Geopark, a national scenic area, a AAAAA tourist attraction, and a natural and cultural heritage site in China. Tianzhushan is an important part of Great Huangshan Initiative as an international, world-class leisure and wellness tourism destination.

Now please allow me to share a few stories about Tianzhushan.

The rocks on Tianzhushan are able to fall in love

Please look at the first picture, does it look like a gentleman carrying a girl on the back? Yes, you are right, this is Santai Peak on Tianzhushan, commonly known as a young man carrying his bride;

Look at the second picture, it looks like two mythical beasts kissing, one is in the boundless sky, the other is in the vast sea of clouds, after a touching kiss, they will never get separated. We call it Solemn Pledge of Love, also called the love of the sea and the heaven.

There is a legend in Tianzhushan, a long time ago, the Seventh Fairy, the daughter of the Emperor of Heaven, was beautiful and kind, longing for freedom and happiness in the earthly world, so she secretly went down to the earth. In Tianzhushan, she met and fell in love with the hard-working and filial men Dong Yong, and achieved a beautiful marriage of a mortal husband marrying a fairy. This is the story of the well-known Huangmei Opera Fairy Marriage in China.

Tianzhushan is also the place where China's earliest narrative poem Peacocks Flying Southeast takes place. Known as the Oriental Romeo and Juliet, the poem tells a lingering and poignant love story about 2,000 years ago.

Tianzhushan is also the hometown of the famous beautiful Qiao sisters in Chinese history, and has performed a legend of heroes and beauties.

Why do these beautiful and romantic love stories all take place in Tianzhushan? After the joint research of scientists and love experts, a shocking secret has been discovered - that the blood of this mountain flows with ancient love genes.

In the Triassic period 240 million years ago, the major geological plates on the earth were in their youth, exuding hormonal breath. Just because of a look at each other, the Yangtze plate and the North China plate collided passionately. The Yangtze Plate plunged into the North China Plate’s affectionate arms about 100 km underground, achieving an earth-shattering love legend. Tianzhushan rushed out of the surface and held up the sky. 

Tianzhushan is known as a most beautiful granite landscape in the East. Rocks throughout the mountain can talk, revealing the earth's code.

The rocks of Tianzhushan can fall in love.Feilai Peak and Tianzhu Peak are gazing affectionately, the mountains are hugging the blue lake, never separated. As a holy mountain of love, Tianzhushan also has a set of amazing life totems.

Since last year, we have continuously organized the Tianzhushan Wedding and Tourism Cultural Festivals, and Tianzhushan has become a famous love check-in place, letting the sweetness remaining in the most beautiful moments.

The rocks of Tianzhushan can chant poetry

More than 1,000 years ago, Li Bai, a genius poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, looked at Tianzhushan while standing on the Yangtze River, and exclaimed that "The majestic peaks jump out of floating clouds with lush woods flourishing in refreshing air". My understanding is that Tianzhu Peak has grown wings of clouds and flies in the sky; The pine trees spit out a curling fairy breath and want to turn into the immortals.

Please enjoy another photo. Can you see an immortal standing on the cliff? This is the genius poet Li Bai who spent his life-time visiting famous landscapes. He ever visited the immortal and asked for medicine alchemy in Tianzhushan, then he formed an inextricable bond with Tianzhushan. According to legend, his soul flew back to Tianzhushan and turned into a stone on the cliff, named "Taibai Watching the Sea".

Bai Juyi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, praised Tianzhushan: "Tianzhu Peak holds up the sun and the moon, with thousands of caves wreathed by clouds and thunder." That is to say, Tianzhu Peak resembles a gigantic pillar, with the lamps of the sun and the moon hanging on it;

Tianzhushan is a poetic mountain, throughout the ages, countless poets and writers have ascended Tianzhushan, leaving a large number of poems. In fact, the greatest poet is the sun, the moon and stars are of the universe, is the crooked pines and grotesque rocks in Tianzhushan, is the flowing springs and waterfalls are the troubadours.

At the southern foot of Tianzhushan, there is a poetic gurgling valley stream, where more than 300 poems and stone carvings of the ancients still retain on the the riverbed and the cliffs, known as the stone carving museum, the grand poetry garden and a wonder in the world.

Rocks on Tianzhushan can relieve mental burden

Hiking in Tianzhushan, looking closely at many stones, you will see many human faces.

Men are walking stones, and stones are meditating people.

Pines are reclusive clouds, and the clouds are wandering pines.

Many people look for their path to liberation from Eastern wisdom. Zen is a typical oriental wisdom, and meditation is a journey of peace of mind and a path to liberation. Zen originated in ancient India, and it was invented by Mr. Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism.

About 1,500 years ago, Mr. Bodhidharma brought Zen to China and became the first patriarch of Chinese Zen Buddhism.

Mr. Hui Ke is the second patriarch of Chinese Zen Buddhism and the first Chinese to practice Zen Buddhism. Mr. Hui Ke went to Sikongshan, which is not far from Tianzhushan, to practice, and accepted Seng Can as a disciple, and Seng Can became the third patriarch of Chinese Zen Buddhism, and came to Tianzhushan, and his temple was called Sanzu Temple.

One day, a young man named Daoxin met Mr. Seng Can in front of a big rock and said: I know that you are a very compassionate person, please help me to untie my bonds.

Seng Can asked: Who tied you up?

Daoxin said: No one tied me up.

Send Can：Then why are you asking for relief?!

Daoxin suddenly realized that there was nothing to bind me, it was I who restrained myself! Daoxin later inherited the mantle of Seng Chan and became the fourth patriarch of Chinese Zen Buddhism. That stone is the famous Jiefu stone, and it is said that when you stand on it, your mental burden will disappear.

How to relief from anxiety? Our ancients has deeply inspired us.

Since Zen Buddhism was brought to China, it has been deeply integrated with Chinese culture and has become an important part of traditional Chinese culture. Later, Zen spread from China to Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and other places, swept Southeast Asia, and then spread to Europe and the United States, and now many countries and regions have people practicing Zen. Meditation has transcended religion and become a healthy and fun lifestyle.

Anqing City, where Tianzhushan is located, is an important birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism. Popular all over the world, Zen is a treasure of Chinese culture, and Chinese Zen is the mysterious wisdom of the ancient Orient dedicated to the world. I hope that through your dissemination, more Zen practitioners and researchers will come to Tianzhushan and Sikongshan to find the source of Zen in China.

Rocks on Tianzhushan can assist health care

Look at the rocks throughout the mountain, each stone is over hundreds of millions of years. Some people have found that there are two secrets to the longevity of Tianzhushan rocks:

Firstly, Tianzhushan is rich in selenium, zinc, and negative oxygen ions, and it is a rare place of "three rich". Rocks on the mountains drink selenium-rich water, eat zinc-rich vegetables and inhaled in negative oxygen ions, and they all live as longevity stars. Not only rocks, but also people benefit from the nourishment of nature. The people here are not only healthy and long-lived, but also smart and clever. A small village called Nishui Village at the foot of Tianzhushan has fostered above 30 doctors from more than 3,000 residents, and it has become a famous doctor village.

Secondly, rocks also practice Chinese Kung Fu to prolong life. Now please allow me to share a set of pictures. There is a magical master Liu Shaobin in Tianzhushan, inspired by rocks, he created Tianzhu health preservation Kung Fu and often teaches people to practice it on the mountain all year round.

Many foreign friends came here. There is a foreign couple they are unable to given birth to children. One day they came to Tianzhushan to recuperate, practiced health preservation Kung fu with Master Liu, and when they returned home, they gave birth to the first child. So they came to Tianzhushan again, and got the second child. This is not only due to the miraculous health preservation Kung fu, but also thanks to the rich zinc in the water and food of Tianzhushan. Tianzhshan is a lucky mountain for women and a gas station for men!
